i have sworn off watching the red sox for the past few days and that is a good thing. if i witnessed the past couple games i would have been up all night replaying the horror of what i witnessed on the diamond. do these guys want it?? at a time when a championship team should be gearing up for the playoffs the sox seem to be stuck in a rut and playing with the type of intensity reseved for spring training games. red sox nation is not happy.. no sense blaming gagne, francona, manny etc., it's a team-wide malaise.
my poor little girl ellie is getting her molers and its taking its toll on her. couple that with just starting daycare and sharing germs with all the other 2 year-olds and she is a mess right now. but she is such a trooper; drooling, pooping, not sleeping well & she still has that beautiful smile on her face. it really trivializes my obsession with the red sox. no doubt children put things into perspective. i took her to Target this morning & its right next door to a Petco & she loves animals. due to time restrictions i couldn't take her in and, needless to say, she gave me a run for my money. somehow she can contort her body into a perfectly flat board and refuse to be buckled into her seat. i proceeded to battle her for a good 5 minutes as the entire parking lot looked on. i think some of the mommies had the 9-1 dialed and were ready to hit the other 1 if things got any more heated! proud to say i kept my composure, got her into the carseat and was out of the lot with laurie berkner blaring on the radio.
